Piccolino - Plastic Slats

Our plastic slats for weaners “Piccolino 450/451” (450 x 800 mm) and “Piccolino 800/801”
(800 x 800 mm) are suitable for weaners up to 50kg. Where weaners remain in the flatdeck
above 30 kg we recommend - for the purpose of claw abrasion - the installation of the “Concrete Slat Inserts” instead of some of the Piccolino plastic slats. This will support the required
abrasion of the claw of the weaners (please refer to the presentation “Concrete
Slat Inserts” in the section “Combi Floors”).

With our weaner slat “Piccolino 802” (800 x 800 mm - solid floor) we support the request of the ventilation experts asking for closed flooring in the doorways for the doorway- and slot ventilation.

The large “XL”- slat size (800 x 800 mm) enables fast and simple installation.
With these slats the installation time is reduced as well as up to 50% reduction in bearer requirement achieved compared to other slat dimensions. (see the table below for comparison
on savings).

The “XL”- plastic slats “Piccolino 800-802” (800 x 800 mm) for weaners up to 50 kg
can be installed in combination with our “XXL”- plastic slat “Piccoletto 810” (800 x 1000 mm)
for weaners up to 35 kg.
